We’ve decided to postpone the Brevet until next year. Interest was just lukewarm this year at what’s traditionally a very mountain-bike focused event. Our apologies to anyone who was planning on registering on site.
New for this year is our non-competitive mixed road/gravel group ride, the Outlier Brevet.
A fully supported road ride, the Outlier Brevet takes riders from check-in at Mountain Plaza at 9am Sunday morning for a scenic 45-mile spin through Minturn, Red Cliff and then Shrine and Vail Passes. Riders can expect fully stocked aid stations and breathtaking views.
This ride is manageable on a standard road bike, but 28c tires or higher are strongly recommended. Mountain bikes are welcome, gravel and ‘cross bikes encouraged (hmmm…wonder if anyone’s demoing any of those rare beasts?)
So grab your casual pals or a few of the local hammers and prepare for a great day among turning leaves and great friends.
